Job Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the modular division, ensuring all deliverables are met to time, cost, and quality standards. The role requires an executive capable of managing complex projects, mitigating risks, and fostering effective communication among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and apply appropriate project management standards (e.g., PRINCE2).
- Manage the production and timely delivery of required project deliverables.
- Plan, monitor, and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved.
- Delegate tasks and oversee the use of project assurance roles within the reporting structures.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, stage plans, and exception reports.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing contingency plans as required.
- Liaise with programme management and related projects to avoid overlaps and ensure collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and resource usage, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Apply change control and configuration management processes.
- Report on project progress using highlight reports and Gateway Reviews.
- Collaborate with project assurance representatives to ensure project integrity.
- Maintain awareness of project interdependencies and their potential impacts.
- Adopt and apply appropriate technical and quality standards to the project.
- Obtain necessary support and advice for project management, planning, and control.
- Oversee project administration and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
- Conduct project evaluations to assess the effectiveness of project management practices.
- Prepare follow-on action recommendations to improve future project performance.
- Serve as the primary interface between the project sponsor and the supply-side project team in construction projects.
Person Specification
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects (2-4yrs).
- An understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK).
- Experience in developing and maintaining project plans and risk management processes.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to direct, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary project team.
- Proficient in resource allocation and budget management to meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, senior management, and project teams.
- Capable of working under pressure, balancing competing priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience within modular construction or the construction sector is an advantage.
- Personal Attributes:

- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
