We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Leader with a deep understanding of the leisure and park home industry to lead our sales efforts across the UK and Ireland.
Position Overview:
The Sales Leader will be responsible for driving market penetration, developing key relationships, and leading sales initiatives across the UK and Ireland within the leisure and park home sector. This role requires a strategic leader with an established network and a proven track record in the industry. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify opportunities, propose tailored solutions, and close high-value deals that align with JANS Modular’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Penetration:
- Identify, target, and engage with decision-makers across the existing and potential customer base.
- Introduce JANS Modular’s off-site construction solutions to resort and land owners, operators, and development teams within the leisure and park home sector.
- Expand JANS Modular’s presence across the UK and Ireland markets.
Relationship Building:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and influencers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
- Attend industry events and conferences to expand the company’s network and presence.
Solution Selling:
- Understand each client’s specific requirements and challenges.
- Propose customised modular construction solutions that meet their objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Position JANS Modular as a preferred supplier by demonstrating value and expertise.
Pipeline Management:
- Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure.
- Ensure consistent progress through regular follow-ups and strategic negotiations.
- Utilize CRM systems to track opportunities, sales activities, and performance metrics.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, engineering, and project management.
- Ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals are developed to meet client needs.
- Align sales strategies with overall company goals to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the market.
- Provide strategic insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Person Specification:
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership within the leisure and park home manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of leading a sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Established network of contacts within the UK and Ireland’s leisure and park home sectors.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the leisure and park home market, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales management tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
